Call for Applications: Honeywell Aerospace/ERAU-Mentoring Program
Honeywell is a leading company in the aerospace industry and has a broad portfolio of both space and aviation products. Honeywell Aerospace employs more than 110,000 people worldwide, including facilities in Florida and Arizona. Honeywell is partnering with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) to offer students the opportunity to be mentored by a Honeywell team member. This experience is intended for learning and engagement. It does not serve as a guarantee or automatic step toward an internship.
Program Description and Duration:
Students will be paired with a mentor for an 8-month period, meeting on approximately a bi-weekly basis. Meetings will occur through a combination of in-person, virtual, and Honeywell site visits. The program will launch with an on-campus session with Honeywell leaders.
Criteria:
(a) Applicants must be a U.S. Person
(b) Be enrolled on either the Daytona Beach campus or Prescott campus for Fall 2025 and plan to be enrolled for Spring 2026;
(c) Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better and be full time
Undergraduate students from the Daytona Beach and Prescott Campuses will be selected. During the 2025-2026 academic year, Honeywell has identified mentors in Avionics, Propulsion, Space, Human Factors, Business, Supply Chain, Materials Science, and Flight. Applicants' academic and career paths should align with these fields. The project is targeted for Sophomore and Junior level students (those not graduating earlier than Fall 2026). It is expected that mentees selected will have a positive “yes-if” attitude, competitive drive, be open-minded, willing to share strengths and weaknesses, and be enthusiastic about building relationships and networks.

- Statement of interest, including extracurricular activities
- Resume - Must have approved resume by The Center for Career and Professional Development
- Deadline to submit: Sept. 15, 2025
