Systems Engineer (Entry-Level or Associate) 00000378837

Boeing Defense, Space and Security is seeking System Engineers located in the Oklahoma City, OK.  Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Entry-Level and Associate Engineers.

The successful candidate will join engineering teams that work with customers to develop integrated solutions to enhance capabilities and performance across multiple existing aircraft platforms.  The candidate(s) will be a member of a dynamic and diverse Systems Engineering Boeing Team. 

Position Responsibilities:
  • Develop system architectures
  • Performing technical analyses
  • Analyze customer inputs to define system requirements
  • Perform functional development/modeling of the system behavior
  • Conduct functional, performance, and environmental testing
  • Develop verification and certification artifacts and interfacing with other members of the project or program teams, management, sales and marketing staff, customers and suppliers to meet group, organization and company objectives

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options

Security Clearance / Export Control Requirements:
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
  • Experience in Aviation or Aerospace
  • Experience with Systems Engineering

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 1 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Active security clearance (Secret or higher)
  • Prior Aerospace Systems engineering experience
  • Experience managing projects and tasks lists
  • Ability to learn new processes and software tools
  • Ability to communicate with larger teams on task progress

Typical Education & Experience:
Entry-Level (Level 1)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Associate (Level 2)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Relocation
This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
Basic relocation is available for internal candidates, based on candidate eligibility.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 
Summary pay range for Entry-Level Level 1: $62,900 - $85,100
Summary pay range for Associate Level 2: $75,650 - $102,350

Additional Information:
Work Schedule: Oklahoma City has a 9/80 work schedule.   Every other Friday is an off day.
