Our rotational program is part of the commitment Textron makes to develop talent and represents the company’s belief that moving talented people across our businesses and developing them with challenging opportunities are fundamental to personal and professional growth. In this program, you will have the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge about how different roles align with your skills and career goals. Being an LDP will provide you with a challenging and rewarding experience that will prepare you to be a well-rounded EH&S Professional.
Job Summary:
Textron’s Environmental Health and Safety Leadership Development Program is a 2-year commitment with 12-month rotations within our seven business units: Bell, Textron Aviation, Textron Systems, Textron Specialized Vehicles, Kautex, Textron eAviation, and Textron Inc. Participants must be geographically mobile as locations vary based on business needs. While in the program, you will receive on-the-job and professional training to aid in your development, have opportunities to lead and participate in impactful projects, and network with colleagues across the globe. Additionally, you will have a dedicated Program Manager to guide your experience and an assigned mentor to help support your growth. Your experience will be unique and personalized based on your career interest and business needs.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Participate and drive business outcomes in two twelve-month rotations, with assignments in areas including but not limited to: Environmental Compliance, Workplace Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Workers Compensation, Sustainability, Hazardous Waste Management, Risk Management, Loss Prevention, Disability Management, and Local & Federal Regulation Compliance.
- Contribute to a wide variety of projects and assignments to grow leadership skills, business acumen, and technical skills.
- Work within a team setting under guidance from your assigned manager.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
- Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
- Proactive and results-driven individual
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Resourceful/problem solver
- Able to quickly adapt to change
Mobility:
Applicants must be willing and able to relocate for all rotational assignments and have flexibility to travel/live anywhere in the U.S. This flexibility will result in dynamic rotations that provide broad exposure and further develop functional and leadership skills.
